Wrecking Yard Treasure

A few years back I tried to buy this old 38 Ford truck out of a wrecking yard but the price was too high for me.  It was built in the late 50s as a shop truck for an upholstery shop.

1955 Plymouth Wagons for Oje' of EarlyRods

Oje' from EarlyRods.com just traded a car for a 1955 Plymouth Wagon.  These are just a couple of photos I found in my files.  The upper was sent to me and the bottom photo I took at the Pismo Beach car show a few years back. 

55 & 56 Chevy's

These photos were sent to me from my friend Chris Rubio.  Chris is the guy who owns the very Stylish unchopped black 50 Mercury.  I believe the 56 above was his Dads car along with the Road Knights plaque. The 55 belongs to a friend of his.

Car Craft Magazines "Little Pages" from the late 50s are always great to look at.  I have plenty of them but you could never have enough.  These are the type of things that inspired me about cars when I was young.

I photographed Chris Hernandez' 1961 Cadillac Mild Kustom a few years back after the Ventura Primer Nationals show.  This Cadilliac is very Stylish and one of the nicest I have seen, inside and out.

Steve Lininger's 1951 Ford Chopped Convertable

I believe this car was built in the 1980's.  I saw this car back in 1983-84 at the KKOA show in Lodi California when it was in primer.  I have the old photos from that show but I can't seem to find the one of this car.  It was one of my favorites back then and it still captures my eye today.
