Update on El Chubbs '41 Plymouth (Plackard)...

The '41 Plymouth is coming out mighty fine.  My dad (Arnold Garza) with the assistance of Gilbert has been putting in many hours on the Kustom metal work.  Packard parts are being used on many of the modifications giving it the nickname "The Plackard".  After the grille work is done they are going to start in on the front suspension work.  They decided to keep the stock front independent suspension but with the addition of dropped uprights and disc brakes.  In the rear they will probably go with a triangulated four link setup with air bags.

Soon I will be posting the progress on our good friend's 1940 Plymouth that was chopped by Laurence Orlick in Santa Maria CA.  We are all friends and both Plymouth's are from the same car club (Los Phantoms).  Although they are very similar in style they are going to be different when seen side by side.  They both will be turning heads at next years WCK Cruisin' Nationals in Santa Maria CA so keep your eye out for them.
