This is one of my favorite Kustom Mercury's. The color is great and the Kustom work makes the car look very Stylish. This is known as the first chopped 49-51 Mercury. It was bought new by Sam Barris.

- My name is Mark Garza and I collect photos, old and new, of Traditional Kustoms and Hot Rods. I have been involved with Hot Rodding since I was just a young kid. It was first through my Uncle’s stories of his old times and also his little page magazines that I now collect. At age twelve I found my first car, it was a '55 Plymouth which I still have today. At age sixteen I was brought into the Lowrds car club in Fresno California. That’s when my love for Kustoms really began. Now, along with my Dad and Brother, we build Kustoms & Hot Rods, mostly for hobby but also for sale. My Dad is Arnold Garza, an awesome metal man who has built some great Kustoms over the years. We are all members of Headhunters Kustom Kars.
