Aaron Acquafondata's 1946 Chevy Kustom...

Aaron's car has been done right.  Looking like a true '40s Kustom, it appears as though the car was built around 1947 or '48.  It has a subtle 1.5" chop at the post, equating to a 2'' vertical drop of the roof. Aaron explained that the catwalk was extended and the roof was moved forward.  The hood badges were removed and replaced with a subtle peak.  The trunk lid was shaved and the rear fenders were molded to the body and all other stock trim was left in place.

Aaron has converted it over to a simple 350/350 drivetrain and what's very impressive is he drives it daily in all weather conditions.  Aaron chose to keep it traditional with a dark color, painting it in six coats of single stage black paint with some clear mixed into the last four coats.  This car rides as it sit on the springs and no air-ride.
