Parts needed...

I am trying to get my Hot Rod 31 Chrysler project on the road for next months WCK Santa Maria show.  I need a few items to get it there.  Below is my list:

         * I am looking for a drivers side exhaust manifold or headers for a 331 Cadillac
         * A four barrel Rochester 4gc or Carter WCFB carburetor (53 Cadillac 331 motor)  
         * Two-2brl  intake manifold (331 Cadillac)
         * Chopped windshield and posts for a 30-31 Model A
         * Brake pedal and master cylinder

Get Ready...

Only about 50+ days left to get ready for the West Coast Kustoms Santa Maria show.

I'm off to work on the 31 Hot Rod project.  I will post my progress soon.

Local Central Coast Run

Years ago a bunch of our friends went on a cruise which started in Arroyo Grande CA and ended in Buellton.  Along the way we went through the following towns; Guadalupe, Santa Maria, Garey, Sisquoc, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, Solvang and we ended up in Buellton for some good food. After that we cruised back home on the 101.

I think it's time to do it agian.  Let me know if you are in and we will set a date.

Early West Coast Kustoms Show

I believe this photo is September 18, 1982 at Nacimiento Lake, Paso Robles, CA.  I was only 14 years and I did not make it to the show.  I already had my 1955 Plymouth but it was not ready yet.   In 1984 I made it to my first show in my 55.  It was Lodi CA at the KKOA Sled Scene West event.  In 1985 I made it to Sherwood Park for my first Paso Robles show.

Mad Bomberz Central Coast Car Club Gathering

Today the Mad Bomberz Car Club put on a BBQ in Nipomo Park to bring together some of the local car clubs.  They supplied the wood and the pit and everyone brought their own meat for the grill.  It was a great turnout with great weather and members and friends from the following clubs attended.

Stylish Ford Kustom

Very nice but subtle Kustom techniques have been done to this Ford.  The only thing I would do different  would be removal of the spotlights. Nice choice of color.

Old Mopars

J.R. Kerr from Santa Maria, CA sent me these photos of his old 40 Dodge and his friends 41 Plymouth.  When J.R. saw my old Chrysler (before knowing it was a Chrysler) he thought it may have been his old Dodge because of the Packard grille.  He told me the story of how he damaged the front end of his car and during the repair they mounted in the Packard grille.
