Janne sent me this photo of this Kustom Chevy. I believe it is a 1948. This car looks amazing and the last color I have seen it in is gold satin. If anyone has any updated photos please send them my way so I could post them. stylishkustoms@live.com
This car was actually one of my favorites at this years WCK Santa Maria show. I photographed it early morning while we were waiting to get ito the show. I don't know what it had in it as far as drivetrain. This is going to be one of those Kustoms I will watch over time during the build.
I am trying to figure out a good Kustom grille for the '46. I know Cadillac fits it the best but they have been used many times before on these cars. I have several earlier Cadillac and Packard grilles but I think it may be wrong to go backwards in year when Kustom styling typically would be to put the latest and greatest of whats available.
My name is Mark Garza and I collect photos, old and new, of Traditional Kustoms and Hot Rods. I have been involved with Hot Rodding since I was just a young kid. It was first through my Uncle’s stories of his old times and also his little page magazines that I now collect. At age twelve I found my first car, it was a '55 Plymouth which I still have today. At age sixteen I was brought into the Lowrds car club in Fresno California. That’s when my love for Kustoms really began.
Now, along with my Dad and Brother, we build Kustoms & Hot Rods, mostly for hobby but also for sale. My Dad is Arnold Garza, an awesome metal man who has built some great Kustoms over the years. We are all members of Headhunters Kustom Kars.
This blog is dedicated to showing some of the best Kustoms and Hot Rods of past and present and is also an avenue for buying, selling and trading old, rare and unique Kustom & Hot Rod cars and parts.
